SHARON OSBOURNE: 'OZZY Is A Lover, Not A Fighter'

April 16, 2003

"Celebrity Justice" spoke with Sharon Osbourne after she was allegedly punched by Renee Tab, a 26-year-old who works at the mighty ICM talent agency in Hollywood. Sharon was asked how hubby Ozzy Osbourne reacted to the incident, "My husband is a lover, not a fighter," she said. "And he's always had this saying — violence achieves nothing. And he's never been violent to go out and punch someone in the face. That's not him. He's bewildered by the whole thing."

With regards to her injuries, Sharon said, "It looked worse a few days ago because it was swollen and hanging down. Part of my neck was flapping. Everyday it looks better. But I have really bad pain here. The side of my jaw and my neck is still bad."

"Now I've got to go and have the alignment done of my jaw and my teeth fixed. And I'm like, I just don't want to be doing this at this time."

According to Osbourne, chaos erupted at a sushi restaurant, near the restrooms, as Osbourne and Tab somehow ran into each other. Sharon said, "After the swing the next thing I remember was, 'My jaw is broken, my jaw is broken.'"

The young agent's lawyer says Osbourne attacked Tab calling her names and spitting on her. But Sharon says she was punched by Tab and two sources from the restaurant that spoke to "Celebrity Justice" back up Sharon's version. Sharon said, "I am upset. I'm really upset and I feel that someone has done me wrong. And I want everybody to see the way I look because I've got nothing to hide. And it's like, you know what, take a look."

Sharon Osbourne says she has fought and won her battle against colon cancer. She does not intend to lose any other fights that come her way. She says, "I've got a bruise on my chin. It hurts. My ears hurt. My neck hurts. My teeth have to be redone. But I'm alive. You're not going to put me down. No way, I'm here. It's like, move over, Mrs. O is in town."
